On Saturday the 17th of June 2023 the Cuballing Golf Club announced its newest life member.
It is with tremendous pride, we welcome Anthony Mort to the "Hall of Fame".
Morty joined the Cuballing Golf Club in 2002, joined the Committee in 2005, became Vice Captian in 2006 under Rob Harris, 2007-2009 he was Men's Captian & in 2012 he took over as President, a position he still holds 12 years later. This is just the surface of Morty's contributions to the Cuballing Golf Club.
During his time at the club, he has assisted and led numerous development projects. Some of these include green renovations, tee box rejuvenation, total golf course beautification and more recently the vision for our new patio area (hopefully being erected before the start of August). He is also a good operator when it comes to driving the loader.
But perhaps the biggest contribution that Morty has made to the club during his time is his influence on the culture of the club. Everyone is welcome at Cuby. No matter what you look like, how you dress, whether you drink or not, all are welcome, and the club's current success is a credit to the culture he has helped build over the last 21 years.
